Ezechiel Copic is a seasoned professional in digital currency policy, currently serving as the Director for Digital Currency Policy at Visa. They previously held the position of Global Head of Public Sector Research & Development at cLabs, where they focused on digital assets such as central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and stablecoins. Ezechiel's experience also includes advising over 50 central banks while at the World Gold Council and managing a substantial foreign reserve portfolio at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. They have published research on economic issues and actively contributed to global discussions on digital currency governance through various initiatives. Ezechiel earned a BA in International Relations and German Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an MA in International Political Economics from Fordham University.
