Karol Goik is an experienced architect and senior Java consultant, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Visa, where they are engineering a secure microservice for cryptographic key management. Previously, Karol held roles at EDGE Consulting sp. z o.o. and Sopra Steria, focusing on large-scale systems for EU agencies and contributing to the development of the Steria Interconnection Box project. Karol has a robust background in software engineering, having developed applications using a variety of technologies including Java, Spring, and Docker. They earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science in Industry from The Silesian University of Technology.
