Katya Ruffell

Katya Ruffell (née Hamilton-Smith) is the Head of Corporate Affairs at the Royal Ballet and Opera, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, Katya served as a Press Secretary and Senior Communications Officer at the UK Ministry of Defence, where they managed media relations and crisis communications. Katya's career began with a PR internship at Frank PR and has included various roles in communications at Visa, where they are currently a Senior Manager in Corporate Communications focused on crisis and issues. Katya obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of the Arts London in 2019.
