Marta Prado

Marta Prado is the Director of Global Government Engagement at Visa, a position held since 2022. Marta previously served as the Executive Director for International Trade and Development at Humane Society International from 2004 to 2011, and held various leadership roles at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, including Director for Southeast Asia and the Pacific. Marta began their career as an Associate at Stewart and Stewart from 1999 to 2004, and contributed to public affairs as a Legislative and Public Affairs Specialist for the World Society for the Protection of Animals in 2012-2013. Marta holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Doctor of Law from Georgetown University.
