Melanie Brown

Melanie Brown, CFA, has over 17 years of experience in Corporate Financial Services, specializing in FinTech mergers and acquisitions. They served in various roles at Barclays Bank PLC, including Analyst, Associate Director, and Manager in Corporate Development, where they advised senior management on transaction strategy and execution. At BNY Mellon, Melanie held the position of Vice President, where they focused on investment management strategy and project management. Currently, Melanie is the Head of Corporate Development and Ventures at Visa, leading M&A and venture initiatives in the CEMEA region. Melanie earned a Master of Chemistry with 1st Class Honors from The University of Edinburgh and completed an Erasmus research year at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
