Nate Hurst

Nate Hurst serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Visa since January 2024. Previously, Nate held the position of Chief Sustainability & Social Impact Officer and Managing Director of the BlackRock Foundation at BlackRock from January 2022 to January 2023. Prior to that role, Nate was the Head of Social Impact & Sustainability and President of the Wells Fargo Foundation at Wells Fargo from January 2020 to December 2021. Nate's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Sustainability & Social Impact Officer at HP from January 2011 to January 2020 and Director of Sustainability, Public Affairs, and Government Relations at Walmart from January 2005 to January 2011. Nate holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Business from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Business from Virginia Tech.
