Peter Singer

Peter Singer is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial technology and cryptocurrency sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Crypto AML and Sanctions at Visa since November 2025, Peter has a strong track record in regulatory compliance, having previously held roles such as Chief Compliance Officer at Alpaca and Coinme, as well as Deputy CCO at Fireblocks. Notably, Peter led a 50-state licensing project, significantly expanded compliance frameworks, and managed broad regulatory initiatives that supported substantial organizational growth. With a background that includes developing compliance programs for companies like Revolut and GIACT, Peter possesses a Master’s in Human Resource Management and an MBA in Finance and International Business from The University of Texas at Arlington, along with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University.
