Rachid Gado

Rachid Gado has an extensive background in network processing and payment systems, currently serving as Sr. Director and Head of Network Processing for Sub Saharan Africa at Visa since March 2015. In this role, Rachid leads the strategy for network processing across the region, engages with key stakeholders such as government and regulatory bodies, and is responsible for achieving financial targets. Prior to this, Rachid held various positions at Visa, including Director of Global Network Processing for West & Central Africa, and Senior Account Manager for both Western & Central and North & Francophone Africa. Rachid's earlier experience includes significant roles at GIM-UEMOA, where responsibilities ranged from project management and security management to team management and training. Rachid holds an MBA in Marketing BtoB from Groupe Institut Africain de Management and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Université du Sahel.
