Richard Pounder is a driven leader currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of Corporate Risk at Visa Europe. Previously, Richard spent nearly a decade in the Royal Navy as a Submarine Warfare Officer and has held significant roles at HSBC and Visa in risk management. Richard's early career included work as a freelance musician, contributing to a diverse skill set that includes strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Richard completed education at the Royal Northern College of Music, earning a distinction.
