Sandra M. is an accomplished cybersecurity and audit professional with extensive experience in various government and organizational roles. Currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity Audit and Compliance at Visa, Sandra oversees a team responsible for testing cybersecurity controls and evaluating security risks. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Audit Executive for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, setting the direction for the internal audit function, and as Internal Audit and IT Audit Manager at the Texas Department of Transportation, where Sandra successfully reduced risk through various audits. Additional roles at the Texas Department of Public Safety, U.S. Department of Transportation, and research positions have further solidified Sandra's expertise in compliance and performance audits.
