Sarah Laszlo

Dr. Sarah Laszlo holds a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, following a bachelor's degree from MIT where they received recognition as a Phi Beta Kappa member and the Hans Lukas Teuber award. They completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University and began pioneering work in machine learning, particularly in deep learning models. At Binghamton University, they served as an associate and assistant professor, earning an NSF CAREER award for their computational linguistics research. Currently, as a Senior Director at Visa, they are architecting AI-driven infrastructure, while previously contributing to significant projects at Google, including advancements in responsible AI and the Keras reservoir computing module. Dr. Laszlo has been featured in notable publications and is recognized as a Fellow of the Society for Psychophysiological Research for their contributions to the field.
