Shashi Ramgopal

Shashi Ramgopal is an experienced cybersecurity and network engineering professional with a diverse background in various high-impact roles. As Lead Engineer at 7-Eleven from February 2022 to July 2023, Shashi oversaw the full-cycle deployment and performance tuning of Cortex XDR, ensuring enterprise endpoint environments were stable and resilient. Currently serving as Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Visa since July 2023, Shashi leads initiatives for firewall rule audits, streamlining rule complexity while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Prior experience includes roles as Security Specialist at HCL Technologies, where network environments were designed and supported across medical centers, and as Senior Network & Security Engineer at Infinity Labs India, focusing on Palo Alto Cortex XDR and Strata firewalls, achieving significant reductions in endpoint vulnerabilities. Shashi began a career in network infrastructure management as a Project Engineer at Wipro Ltd. and holds a degree from M.L.N. College.
