Silvia Checa

Silvia Checa is a design professional who currently serves as a Senior Design Manager at Visa, where they lead collaboration across product, design, engineering, and business teams. Previously, they held notable positions including Chief Design Officer at Exirio and User Experience Lead for the Federal Aviation Administration at Objectstream, Inc. Silvia has also worked as a Senior Product Designer at USAA, Lead Design Strategist at Google, and held various design roles at Kensington Tours and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide. They hold a Master's degree in Design Management from Georgetown University and are currently pursuing a PhD in Transition Design at Carnegie Mellon University.
