Steve Johnson has a diverse background in public sector product management and program administration, with experience spanning various organizations. From 1997 to 1999, Steve served as a Congressional Liaison at the U.S. Customs Service and again in a similar capacity at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service from 1999 to 2001, where responsibilities included managing the Department of Defense Travel Card program. In between these roles, Steve pursued advanced education, earning a Master of Public Policy in National Security from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from William & Mary. More recently, from April 2020 to October 2021, Steve worked as a Program Manager at Pacific Western Bank, overseeing the implementation of contactless payment solutions. Additionally, Steve has been an Independent Consultant and a Senior Business Leader for Public Sector Product Management at Visa, responsible for product development in the U.S.
