Tim Porter

Tim Porter is an experienced leader with a strong background in Finance and COO roles across both public and private sectors. Tim trained as an economist and is a chartered Public Finance accountant, showcasing a commitment to delivering impactful societal outcomes. Tim held various positions at the Bank of England from 1996 to 2007, including COO of Markets & Banking and Head of Finance, and served as a Trader/Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 2000-2001. Currently, Tim is a Senior Director at Visa, focusing on Expenses & Investment, Financial Planning and Analysis in Europe, and previously served as the Head of Central Finance for Continental Europe. Tim earned a BA in Economics from the University of Exeter and an MSc in Economics from University College London, with ongoing studies at Université de Savoie.
