Xuan Li

Xuan ("William") Li, PhD, is currently the Senior Manager of Data Science at Visa, where they leverage extensive experience in quantitative modeling to tackle business challenges through rigorous data analysis and impactful statistical and machine learning models. Previously, Xuan served as a Principal Quantitative Modeler and Manager of Quantitative Analysis at Capital One, focusing on consumer credit risk loss forecasting and account-level credit risk models. They also contributed to education as an Adjunct Lecturer at Lehigh University, teaching courses on Money, Banking, and Financial Markets. Xuan earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Lehigh University, following a Master’s Degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Bachelor's Degree in Material Physics from Fudan University.
