Yining Chen is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Visa, having previously worked as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Web Services from 2020 to 2022. Yining earned a Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. During an earlier role as a Research Intern at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Yining developed a virtual reality algorithm for personalized oral and maxillofacial surgery, which was presented at the 29th SMIT conference and earned the Chun-Tsung Research Fellowship.
