Yiwei Cai

Yiwei Cai is a seasoned leader with over 12 years of experience in technology and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Senior Director at Visa Research, Yiwei mentors both junior and senior machine learning scientists while spearheading innovative AI projects, such as the Smarter STIP real-time low-latency RNN model and the Visa Account Attack Intelligence project. Previously, Yiwei held positions at Facebook and PayPal, where they contributed to advanced machine learning and risk management solutions. Yiwei earned a Ph.D. in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
