Yu (Jason) Gu, PhD, is a distinguished expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Visa. Previously, Yu held key positions at IBM, including Technical Lead and Architect at IBM Watson Health and Research Staff Member at IBM Research Austin. Yu's experience also includes serving as a Research Scientist at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC) and an Assistant Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), along with a visiting professorship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Yu earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Wuhan University of Technology.
