Bogdan Shubin

Bogdan Shubin has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and systems engineering. Bogdan has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

In their most recent position, Bogdan worked as the Engineering Lead for Systems Engineering at Visaic, Inc. starting in November 2019.

Prior to that, they were a QA Manager at Bitmo, Inc. from June 2019 to November 2019.

From November 2017 to June 2019, Bogdan served as a QA Manager at Deluxe Digital Distribution. Bogdan also held the position of Senior Software QA Engineer at the same company from February 2016 to November 2017.

Before joining Deluxe Digital Distribution, Bogdan worked as a Staff WhiteBox QA Engineer at DivX, LLC / NeuLion from March 2015 to February 2016.

Bogdan also gained experience as a QA Whitebox Engineer at DivX/Rovi from October 2012 to March 2015.

In addition, Bogdan held multiple roles at MainConcept-DivX LLC, a subsidiary of ROVI Corporation. Bogdan was the Head of QA Department from December 2010 to October 2012 and also held the same position from April 2008 to October 2012. Prior to becoming the Head of QA Department, they worked as a QA Manager from May 2007 to April 2008. In this role, they were responsible for setting targets for the group of testers, building a team of testers, developing test cases/scenarios, conducting functional, load, and performance tests.

Earlier in their career, Bogdan worked as a QA Engineer at Elecard from August 2002 to April 2007, where they performed functional testing, tests for ease of use, and load/stress tests for software products.

Bogdan's career began at the Tomsk office of "DARIM Vision Co" in September 2001, where they worked as an Engineer of the QA department. Bogdan'sresponsibilities included testing software products, evaluating quality, speed and stability, identifying causes of malfunctions, and installing/configuring Windows and *nix.

Bogdan Shubin received a Master of Engineering degree in 2003 from Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, focusing on a diverse range of subjects including Math, Physics, Programming, English, and Economics.
