Joe Connolly is the founder and CEO of Visana Health. Joe has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on research and development.

Joe Connolly began their career as a senior R&D engineer at Boston Scientific. Joe was a founding member of a disease-focused team that expanded from 3 to 15+ members and had a budget of $2M. The team provided significant input into strategic and annual operating plans. JoeConnolly led global market size and strategy analyses, which improved penetration of BSC products into US & EU through cost effective product, clinical, and market development investments.

In May 2013, Joe Connolly left Boston Scientific to start Visana Health. Visana Health is a digital health company that provides solutions for venous disease. The company has been implemented in top hospitals in the UK and has saved the NHS £500M/year. Joe Connolly is currently working with key payers, providers, and members of Parliament to drive national implementation strategy.

Joe Connolly has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a BS in Bioengineering from Clemson University.
