Mehrsa Mehrabi, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Mehrsa is currently working at Viscient Bio Inc as a Senior Scientist, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientist III at the same company from April 2023 and Scientist II from June 2021.

Before joining Viscient Bio Inc, Mehrsa worked at BioSpyder Technologies as a Postdoctoral Researcher from August 2020 to June 2021. Mehrsa also gained valuable experience as a PHD Researcher at The Edwards Sciences Cardiovascular Center at UCI, where they worked from September 2015 to August 2020.

Mehrsa furthered their education at the California State University, Northridge, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, completing their studies in 2014.

In 2013, Mehrsa obtained a CIRM scholarship from UCLA, where they focused on Human Stem Cell research. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at UC Irvine from 2015 to 2020.

Additionally, Mehrsa Mehrabi received a Mini-MBA in Drug Commercialization & Product Strategy certification from Dignity Health Global Education in May 2023. This certification enhances their expertise in the business aspects of drug commercialization and product strategy.
