Eric McElmurry

Eric McElmurry has extensive experience in technical sales and application engineering, particularly in the field of automated inspection equipment for electronics and battery manufacturing. Currently serving as a Sales Engineer at Viscom AG since July 2014, Eric focuses on supporting sales projects and high-level applications across the Midwest and Canada, specializing in technologies such as AOI, AXI, MXI, SPI, and CCI. Previous roles include Team Lead for sales applications, where Eric managed projects from initial customer interactions to installation, collaborated with global sales teams, and delivered technical demonstrations. Prior to Viscom, Eric worked as a researcher and teaching assistant at Michigan State University, gaining valuable insights into biomechanics and engineering principles. Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
