Kevin Herrarte

Kevin Herrarte has six years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2018, they worked as a Software Architect for Viscosity North America. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer for The Autoweb, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining website solutions using ASP. NET MVC 5 and applying SEM techniques, as well as working using Agile methodologies, SOLID principles and TDD. In 2016, they also worked as a Web Development Specialist for Instituto de fomento municipal de Guatemala. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Full-stack Developer for Research Mobile, where they were responsible for designing and implementing web solutions, integrating new technologies, setting up and administering web servers (AWS), developing backend web services with PHP, Java and NodeJs, and developing UI/UX front-end. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Freelance Software Developer for Comertec, and from 2009 to 2010 they worked as an Information Technology Teacher for Colegio mixto centroamericano.

Kevin Herrarte has a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from Universidad Mariano Gálvez, which they completed in 2013. In 2016, they earned a Maestría en Informática from the same university. Kevin also holds several certifications from Pluralsight, including React.js (2017), Advanced Node.js (2017), Mastering Flux and Redux (2017), Developer to Architect (2017), Javascript Best Practices, and Practical Design Patterns in Javascript.
