Bo Liu

Bo Liu has worked in various software engineering positions throughout their career. Bo began their professional journey as a Software Engineer Intern at ViSenze - Pioneering Visual Search & Image Recognition in May 2014. Bo then joined Retailigence Corporation in January 2013, where they held a full-time Software Engineer role. At Retailigence, they developed data acquisition technologies, programmed web crawlers, and created custom reports in Java, SQL, and PostgreSQL. Bo also conceptualized and developed Android and iOS mobile applications for sales purposes.

Moving forward, Bo joined ViSenze - AI for Visual Commerce in May 2015 as a Full Stack Engineer. Bo then took on the role of Software Engineering Lead from January to June 2017 and again from July 2017 to August 2018. Bo continued to excel within the company, serving as a Software Engineer from March 2018 to February 2019 and as a Software Engineer Team Lead from February to December 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineer Team Lead since January 2020.

Before their career in software engineering, Bo worked as a Software Engineer at Keppel FELS Ltd from June to August 2012. Additionally, they served as a Platoon Commander, Instructor, and Basic Military Training School (BMTC) at the Singapore Armed Forces from March 2009 to February 2010, where they managed and supervised platoons, led training programs, and organized sports events.

Overall, Bo Liu has demonstrated proficiency in software engineering and leadership roles throughout their career.

Bo Liu completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they attended the Stanford Center for Professional Development at Stanford University, focusing on Management Science and Engineering. Before that, from 2006 to 2007, they attended Temasek Junior College and obtained the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level. Bo also studied at Maris Stella High School from 2002 to 2005, where they earned the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level.
