Marty Emanuele

Marty Emanuele has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Marty is currently working as the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at Visgenx, Inc. Prior to this, they served on the Board of Directors at Artelo Biosciences, Inc. and iMetabolic Biopharma Corporation. Marty also worked as the Senior Vice President at Mast Therapeutics, Inc. from 2011 to 2016. Marty held positions as Vice President at DaVita Inc., Avanir Pharmaceuticals, and CytRx Corporation. Before that, they were the Co-Founder, President, and CEO at SynthRx Inc. Marty Emanuele also worked as the Senior Vice President at Kemia, Inc. Their work experience dates back to 1994 when they started their career as a Vice President at CytRx Corporation.

Marty Emanuele's education history includes a variety of academic achievements. They obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with a focus on Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Marty also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business. They further pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology / Biochemistry from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Botany / Plant Biology from Colorado State University. Marty Emanuele completed their high school education at Marmion Military Academy, where they obtained a High School Diploma and also received a commission as Brevit Second Lieutunent in the Illinois National Guard.
