Avinash Kashyap

Avinash Kashyap is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as SVP & Division Head for MOSFETs at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. since January 2025. Prior to this role, Avinash held significant positions at Renesas Electronics as Vice President & GM for Discrete & Wide Bandgap Power Solutions, where leadership spanned P&L, engineering, and revenue generation for power devices aimed at the xEV and industrial sectors. Avinash also contributed as Director of Power Discretes at Microchip Technology Inc., managing product lines and setting long-term strategy. Earlier experience includes serving as Engineering Leader for SiC at GE Global Research, where groundbreaking semiconductor solutions were developed, and engaging in research at the University of Arkansas, focusing on SiC technologies. Educational credentials include an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in SiC/Power Semiconductors from the University of Arkansas.
