Lukas Motta

Lukas Motta has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and positions. Lukas is currently serving as a Prokurist / Authorized Signatory at Vishay Europe Sales GmbH since January 2024. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing ESTA Power Capacitors at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. starting from December 2022.

Before joining Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., Lukas held the position of Director of Global Business Development & Product Marketing Power Capacitors for PFC at TDK Electronics from April 2014 to November 2022. Lukas also worked for EPCOS AG as an Empowered Product Marketing & Sales Senior Manager from July 2010 to March 2014 and as a Product Marketing Manager PFC & Head of PQS Application Team from June 2006 to June 2010.

In the early years of their career, Lukas worked at Schneider Electric as a Product Manager MV/LV and later as a Project Manager MV/LV from October 2001 to May 2006. Lukas started their professional journey as an Electrical Engineer at Schubert Elektroanlagen, where they worked from May 1996 to September 2001.

Lukas Motta completed their education with a diploma in Marketing and Account Management from the College for Marketing and Account Management in 2006. Lukas also holds a certification as a Certified electrical engineer from the Technical School for Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. In 1990 to 1992, Lukas attended HTBLuVA Sankt Poelten, where they studied Communications Engineering. Furthermore, they pursued an MBAC (Comprehensive MBA with China business focus) and specialized in General Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2011 to 2012.
