Mark Harwood's work experience begins in 1984 as an Electrical Assembler at Hollis Automation. Mark advanced to senior technician and worked as an engineering aide. In 1986, they worked at General Machine & Foundry in a production role, participating in the fabrication process of aluminum parts. Moving forward, Harwood joined AGFA Compugraphic in 1987 as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they utilized CAD for design and wrote E-orders and Capital Expenditure Requests. In 1989, they founded Visible Edge, Inc., which offers education services and engineering solutions. In the same year, they also founded Visible-Edge Computing, providing custom-built computer workstations and Pro/E MCAD consulting services. In 1991, Harwood joined Badger Engineers as an Engineering Programmer/Analyst, supporting designers with software implementation and teaching Microstation classes. In 1993, they became the IT Manager at BTU International, overseeing the installation and management of Pro/ENGINEER CAD software and a Windows NT-based LAN system. In 1996, Harwood worked as the IT Manager at Kokusai, where they introduced Pro/ENGINEER and integrated it into a UNIX environment.
Mark Harwood received their high school diploma in College Prep - Math & Science from Bishop Guertin in 1982. Mark then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1982 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Mark obtained additional certifications in Blockchain: Beyond the Basics and Blockchain Basics from LinkedIn in March 2021 and April 2021, respectively.
