Andrew Lin

Andrew Lin has diverse work experience in the field of design and leadership. Andrew is currently a Co-Founder at Visible, a company they helped establish in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor and Chief Design Officer at Elysium Health from 2016 to 2022.

Earlier in their career, Lin held notable positions at Square, where they served as the Creative Principal and Head of Design from 2012 to 2016. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in launching three consumer products, collaborating with various teams and executive staff.

Before joining Square, Lin co-founded and served as the Founder and Principal at 80/20, an award-winning design studio acquired by Square in 2012. At 80/20, they led a team of 12 designers, providing design-led innovation and strategic product vision to clients.

Lin's experience also includes a role as the Head of Experience Design at Adobe from 2006 to 2008, where they worked to unify the interface and experience of multiple Adobe products. Additionally, they worked as the Lead Product Designer for Apple's professional applications from 2004 to 2006, contributing to the design of Apple Aperture 1.0.

Lin began their career as a Founding Member and Designer at Macromedia Experience Design (XD), where they played a crucial role in standardizing user interfaces and growing the internal design discipline. Andrew also worked as an Interaction Designer at Swim Interaction Design Studio and as a Senior Art Director at Modem Media.

Throughout their career, Lin has demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong design vision, contributing significantly to the success of various companies and projects.

Andrew Lin attended Dartmouth College from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree. Their studies at Dartmouth College were focused on a double major in Engineering and Studio Art.
