Annelies began their career with part-time jobs and internships at Ilse Media, gaining experience in project management, online content editing, copywriting, and online marketing.

Annelies Butter's education history includes a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Youth & Media from the University of Amsterdam, which was obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from the same university, from 2010 to 2012.
