John Tharayil Thomas

John Tharayil Thomas is a Machine Vision Analyst at Vision Markets since January 2022, with a strong background in physics and photonics. John completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Pisa from 2011 to 2015, focusing on the spectroscopic analysis and development of solid-state laser sources using YAG ceramics doped with various ions. Prior to that, John served as a Junior Research Fellow at Manipal University, working on photonics applications utilizing ultrafast lasers, and conducted a master thesis project at the Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute, which involved the fabrication of tapered fibers for sensor applications. John's educational qualifications include a 5 Year Integrated Masters in Science in Photonics from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
