Shiva Kumar has a strong background in DevOps engineering, with experience working for various companies. shiva started their career as a Linux System Administrator at Belogic Systems Pvt Ltd in 2012, where they administered RedHat Linux and Solaris servers.

In 2013, they joined Ally as a DevOps Engineer, where they focused on troubleshooting and automated deployment to various web and application servers. shiva also wrote Maven build scripts and POM.xml files for generating Java-based artifacts.

In 2015, Shiva worked as an AWS DevOps Engineer at Miracle Software Systems, Inc, where they utilized Azure Automation, PowerShell, Chef, and Ansible to automate processes in the Azure Cloud. shiva also developed Python code for extracting information from XML files.

Shiva then moved to TD Ameritrade in 2016, where they served as a Sr. DevOps Engineer. Here, they maintained and administered GIT and DevOps source code tools and designed Continuous Integration systems using Maven and Jenkins. shiva also worked extensively with AWS Cloud platform and its features.

Finally, Shiva joined Vision Media in 2017 as a Sr. Devops Engineer. shiva has experience in creating notifications and alarms for EC2 instances using CloudWatch and has a good understanding of various AWS services. Currently, they are leading an integration effort for building out PaaS with Redhat OpenShift Dockers and working with developers on application containerization efforts.

Shiva Kumar obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Rivier University, where they studied from 2015 to 2016.
