Rafael Mendes

Rafael Mendes has had a diverse range of work experiences. Rafael began in 2017 as a Founding Partner at Principia Capital Partners, a private equity firm. In 2017, they also became a Board Member at Cellera Farma. In 2019, they took on the role of Senior Advisor at both Sallve and Medway Residência Médica. Rafael continued their advisory work in 2020 as a Senior Advisor at Lexter.ai. In the same year, they became a CEO at Vision One, a leading eyecare hospital group in Brazil. Rafael also joined EquitasVC as an Investment Committee Member. In 2021, they took on the positions of Member of the Innovation & Technology Committee at Hospital Sírio-Libanês and Board Member at Vitus. In 2023, they became a Board Member at FertGroup. Despite the lack of specific end dates for some roles, Rafael's expertise and involvement in various organizations demonstrate their extensive professional experience.

Rafael Mendes obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP from 1999 to 2005. In 2001, they also obtained a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Victoria. In 2016, Rafael completed the Owner/President Management Program (OPM 52) in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. In terms of additional certifications, Rafael is a Certified Board Member from IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa, and they are also a Certified Portfolio Manager from CVM, which they obtained in 2016 and 2012 respectively.
