Saugata Mitra

Saugata Mitra has extensive experience in sales and business development within the eye care and institutional sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Eye Institutional Business at VISION RX LAB since March 2006, Saugata oversees National Key Accounts and collaborates with leading Eye Institutions in India. Previous roles at VISION RX LAB include Business Manager and Regional Sales Manager, covering multiple territories and responsibilities for sales growth. Prior to this, Saugata worked as Project Manager at Fairfest Media Limited, focusing on event management in the travel and tourism sector, and held various positions at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc., where Saugata managed key accounts across the eastern region of India. A foundational career began at GKB Lens Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata, where Saugata advanced from Public Relations Manager to overseeing retail operations. Saugata's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Art/Art Studies from Asutosh College.
