Karim T.

Karim T. has a wealth of work experience, starting with their role as Financial Controller at L'Oréal in 1998. Karim then moved to Dresdner Bank in 2000 as Head of Risk Capital and Credit Risk Portfolio. In 2007, Karim T. became Head of Investment and Coverage FI & Corporates at Allianz. In 2011, they Co-founded and became Managing Partner of AIA EUROPE. In 2015, they Co-Founded the Fintech QuickFunding. In 2018, they became Managing Partner at Burj Capital Partners. Most recently, in 2022, they Co-Founded and became Board Member of Vision Surgery AI Inc., a Californian based Technology Startup that provides Cloud based Software for Surgery using Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision.

Karim T. began their educational career in 1986 when they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Strasbourg. Karim then went on to pursue a M.Eng in Structural Engineering from Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al between 1993 and 1995. Karim T. then furthered their education by completing an MBA in Finance & International Business from HEC Montr\u00e9al between 1995 and 1997. Additionally, Karim T. has obtained two certifications, a FMVA from Corporate Finance Institute\u00ae (CFI) in 2018 and a Certified Private Equity Professional in 2014.
