Prior to this role, Piyapong held several prominent positions at Central Department Store Limited as Chief Operating Officer from July 2017 to May 2022, and at Tesco (Thailand) in various capacities including Trading Director, Supply Chain Director, Managing Director for Tesco Lotus Supermarket, Retail Support Office Director, and Business Process Lead for Supply Chain from December 2008 to July 2017. Piyapong began a career at The Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader from 2002 to 2008. Piyapong earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Southern California between 1995 and 2000.
