Andrew Cropley

Andrew Cropley is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Principal and Chief Executive Officer at Vision West Nottinghamshire College since May 2019. Prior roles include Principal and Chief Executive Officer at Craven College and Interim Principal positions at Cadbury Sixth Form College and Stratford-upon-Avon College. Andrew also held the position of Group Deputy Principal - Curriculum at Warwickshire College Group and served as Executive Director for Strategic Planning and Business Development at The Sheffield College, where Andrew was instrumental in establishing Yorkshire's first University Technical College in Sheffield. Earlier military experience includes serving as Commanding Officer at the Defence School of Languages and Staff Officer for Personnel Development in the Royal Navy. Academic qualifications include an MA in Defence Studies from King's College London, a PGDip in Applied Meteorology and Oceanography from the University of Plymouth, an MA in Education from The Open University, and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Birmingham.
