Visionary Analytics
Marius Kalanta serves as an Associate Professor and Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University since September 2023, after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor at the same institution. Kalanta is currently a Senior Researcher at Visionary Analytics and was a Senior Policy Analyst at the Government Strategic Analysis Centre (STRATA) from November 2022 to August 2023. Kalanta's postdoctoral research focused on the middle-income trap in the Baltic States, examining the relationship between political factors and economic growth transitions. Additional roles include Acting Director and Senior Analyst at Enterprise Lithuania from September 2018 to April 2022, and Co-founder of the KOG Institute for Marketing and Communications Sciences from March 2015 to March 2017. Kalanta's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Sociology, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Business Administration, respectively, all obtained from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas.
