Weihan Wang

Weihan Wang has a diverse and impressive work experience. Weihan is currently working at Google as a Tech Lead / Manager, Senior Staff Engineer, where they are involved in the development of Spanner, a globally distributed and highly available database.

In 2020, Weihan Wang founded and became the President of the Visionary Education Foundation, an organization that supports higher education students in overcoming social and economic challenges. Weihan established the Visionary Scholarship Program, which provides Chinese college students with grants and mentorship opportunities.

Weihan continued their academic journey at the University of Toronto from 2007 to 2010, working towards a PhD in Computer Engineering. In 2010, Weihan Wang briefly attended Y Combinator for the Summer 2010 program, although the field of study for this experience is not specified.
