Gray Swoope

Gray Swoope is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in economic and community development. As President and CEO of VisionFirst Advisors LLC since March 2015, Gray Swoope has led a consulting firm that specializes in addressing complex economic development challenges for both businesses and governments. Prior to this role, Gray Swoope served as Florida Secretary of Commerce and President & CEO of Enterprise Florida from March 2011 to February 2015. Additionally, an impactful tenure as Executive Director of the Mississippi Development Authority from March 2004 to March 2011 was marked by efforts to enhance services for businesses and communities. Earlier positions include COO and President of the Area Development Partnership and Director of the Economic and Community Development Division at the Arkansas Industrial Development Commission. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a BS in Business Administration from Mississippi State University.
