Makayla Vidosh

Makayla Vidosh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Makayla most recently worked as an Account Manager at VisionSpark starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Frontline Recruiter at DISH Network from July 2022 to March 2023. Makayla also has experience as a Public Relations Associate at WellVue from June to August 2022.

In terms of education, Makayla worked as a Teacher at Catapult Learning from March to May 2022, where they collaborated with general classroom teachers to provide strategic small group instruction. Before that, they worked at Rocky Mountain Prep as a Teacher from June 2020 to March 2022, taking on additional roles such as Interim Grade Level Chair and English Language Arts Lead during their tenure. Makayla's teaching experience also includes working as a Mentor Teacher and Head Soccer Coach at Memphis School of Excellence from September 2019 to May 2020 and from July 2017 to May 2020, respectively.

Makayla's teaching career started with Teach For America, where they were selected from a large applicant pool and participated in an intensive training program. Makayla taught in a summer school program for Memphis public schools from June 2016 to May 2018. Makayla also worked as a Teacher at Aspire Public Schools from July 2016 to June 2017, successfully implementing various curricula and focusing on improving reading levels.

In addition to their teaching experience, Makayla gained valuable skills and contributed to the community through their involvement in AmeriCorps. Makayla served as a KEYS Member, specifically at the Brookline Recreation Center, where they led a summer camp and facilitated various activities for children.

Makayla Vidosh has a diverse education history. Makayla completed their Master of Science (MS) in Educational Studies/Elementary Education at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Makayla obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Waynesburg University between 2012 and 2016.

In terms of additional certifications, Makayla has acquired various project management certifications. Makayla completed the "Capstone: Applying Project Management in the Real World" course from Coursera in February 2023. Before that, they obtained "Agile Project Management" certification in November 2022, and certifications in project execution, planning, initiation, and the foundations of project management between 2019 and 2022.

Makayla also possesses professional licenses in education. Makayla obtained their Professional License from the Tennessee Department of Education in June 2019, and an Elementary Education K-6 Teacher license from the Colorado Department of Education in March 2020.
