Tyler Penny

Tyler Penny is an experienced optometrist currently working at Visionworks of America since July 2022. Prior to this position, Tyler gained extensive clinical experience through 4th year optometry externships at several institutions, including the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Atwater Eye Care Center, and Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. Notably, Tyler also served as an optometrist technician at Hyde Park Optometrist from December 2016 to May 2018. In addition to optometry roles, Tyler has worked as a head football coach for Flag Football Fanatics and an academic tutor at Xavier University. Tyler holds a Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Pre-Optometry from Xavier University.
