Farrukh Mahboob has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2002, they were the Assistant Operations Manager at WorldCall Telecom Limited, where they led network management operations and supervised national teams on fault rectification and network optimization. Farrukh then worked as a Research Assistant at Concordia University from 2004 to 2006, developing new methods and techniques to improve data accessibility in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks. In 2006, they joined Ericsson as a Key Account Manager, where they built a strong sales pipeline up to $1 billion and exceeded sales quota through $200 million break-in sales with China Mobile Communications Corporation. From 2010 to 2011, Farrukh was the Regional Sales Manager at CommScope, managing over $10m annual B2B enterprise sales of high-end technology products and services. Farrukh then moved to Accenture from 2011 to 2013, where they were the Practice Leader of Management Consulting, leading various consulting engagements and business transformations as part of the Sales & Customer Service CRM practice in Australia, Canada, and the USA. In 2013, Farrukh became the Director of Digital Product Management & Strategy at Staples, spearheading product management and strategy of digital and data products across Staples lines of businesses. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of VisionX and also began working as a Life Coach at BostonSpeaks, delivering workshops on various aspects of life and public speaking. Finally, in 2018, they founded and became the CEO of PackageX.
Farrukh Mahboob has a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University, an Executive Data Science degree from The Johns Hopkins University, a Management degree from McGill University, and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila. Farrukh also holds a Salesforce.com Certified Administrator certification obtained in 2013.
