Michael Grunkin - Quantitative Digital Pathology

Michael Grunkin has extensive work experience in the field of quantitative digital pathology. Michael Grunkin started their career as an Assistant Professor at IMM in 1995 and then became the Director of R&D at Pronosco in the same year. In 1998, they joined Retinalyze as the Director of R&D, and later in 2001, they became the CEO of Visiopharm A/S. Prior to their industry roles, they were a Postdoc-Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Michael Grunkin obtained their PhD degree in Spatial statistics and image analysis from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 1993. Prior to that, they earned an MSc degree in Statistics and Computer science from the same university between 1982 and 1988.
