Tim Dean

Tim Dean has a diverse professional background with experience in various roles within the recreation and media sectors. Currently serving as a Driver at Visit Austin since February 2024, Tim previously worked as an Outside Sales Representative at Progressive Commercial Aquatics from July 2023 to February 2024. Tim spent nearly two decades at VYPE Media as a Play by Play Broadcaster, illustrating expertise in sports media. Prior to this, Tim held the position of Recreation Manager at the City of Cedar Park from December 1996 to June 2023, and served as Aquatic Manager at the City of New Braunfels from January 1991 to December 1996. Tim's early career includes a role as Maintenance Supervisor at the City of Jacinto City from 1989 to 1991. Educational qualifications include studies at the University of Houston, San Jacinto College, and Galena Park.
