Dave Beachnau

Dave Beachnau has had a long and varied career in the sports and tourism industry. In 1993, they started working as an Account Executive at Visit Detroit, where they stayed for seven years until 2000. In 2001, they joined the Detroit Sports Commission as the Executive Director, a position they still hold. In 2017, Beachnau returned to Visit Detroit as the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Sports, a role they held until February 2020. Since then, they have transitioned to Senior Vice President of Sales, Services & Sports at the same company.

Dave Beachnau attended Adrian College from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Marketing.
