Rebecca Blanton

Rebecca Blanton is a Social Media Specialist at Visit Detroit, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Rebecca served as a Communication Intern in the Mayor's Office for New Americans at Salt Lake County, where responsibilities included managing social media accounts, preparing Mailchimp newsletters, and coordinating website updates. Additional experience includes working as a Communication Consultant for Community Food Basket Idaho Falls, where organizational communication was assessed and outreach plans created, and serving as a Communication Coordinator at Westminster College, contributing to rebranding efforts and marketing materials. Rebecca held various leadership roles within the Associated Students of Westminster, including Speaker of the Student Senate and Sophomore Senator. Rebecca earned a Bachelor's degree in Global Conflict and Communication from Westminster University in 2021.
