Courtnie Ortiz

Courtnie Ortiz is an experienced sports and event professional with a robust background in promotions, marketing, and community relations. Currently serving as the Sports Coordinator at Visit Fort Worth since February 2022, Courtnie previously held the role of Athletic Marketing Coordinator at The University of Texas at Dallas and was the Director of Community Relations and Promotions for the Midland RockHounds. Notable achievements include overseeing community events, leading promotional efforts that significantly increased sales, and receiving a nomination for the MiLB Golden Bobblehead during Courtnie’s tenure at Midland RockHounds. Courtnie also has coaching experience with Atlanta Elite Volleyball and Athens Academy, coupled with early career roles in media relations and customer service. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from The University of Georgia.
