Douglas Dvorak has a diverse work experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. Douglas began their career as a Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in 2001, where they worked until 2004. After that, they joined the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau as the Director of Sales. In 2005, Dvorak moved to the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission, where they served as the National Convention Sales Manager for seven years. In 2012, they joined Visit Fort Worth as the Director of Sales for the Midwest Region, a role they still hold.

Douglas Dvorak attended Downers Grove South from 1983 to 1987. From 1987 to 1991, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications at Northern Illinois University.
